PROVIDING STUDENTS, FAMILIES, AND THE COMMUNITY WITH CALMING RESOURCES AND MATERIALS

With the closing of school, it can be scary and alarming. We want you to know that we are in this together.  By working together, we can reduce the worry that surrounds the virus. Together is better. We will do everything we can to provide you with care and support even outside of a typical school environment. Here are some of the ways that our Mental Health Team will support you at home:

  • We will send out information on our website related to social/emotional learning that can take place right at home. The information will include discussion items for you and your child.

  • We will send information about community resources.

  • We will provide our contact information if you or your child should need support during the school closure.

  • We will provide resources that focus on mindfulness, social/emotional learning and support, and calming strategies and activities. Staying informed on what we have control over is a great way to reduce anxiety in ourselves and children.

Please contact us with any other questions you may have at our e-mail addresses or phone numbers listed below. We are always open to questions. Thanks!
